Rehabilitation Services
Woodland Heights Medical Center is dedicated to helping people rebuild their lives after illness and injury. We believe that recovery encompasses both mind and body, so our services address both the mental and physical aspects of rehabilitation. The rehabilitation team includes knowledgeable, caring professionals who are dedicated to providing quality care and support.
The rehabilitation team consists of skilled clinicians from a variety of fields. The licensed therapy services staff provides therapy to patients in a hospital setting to help restore maximum level of function. Each patient has access to a case manager to assist with their social and discharge needs and dietitians to assist patient's dietary needs required for maximal healing and recovery.

The rehabilitation team strives to meet the needs of our patients and their families through:
- A caring, compassionate and vigorous environment geared toward achieving a maximum level of ability
- A continuum of care from orthopedic surgery to our orthopedic unit to outpatient rehabilitation
- A coordinated team approach among physician, nursing, case management and therapy services
- Individualized assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education and training for patient, family and/or caretaker
Pre-operative training is available for patients undergoing total knee, total hip or total shoulder replacement procedures. This training is coordinated with our outpatient rehabilitation center.
