Complimenting surgical intervention, Woodland Heights Medical Center offers inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative care and treatment. Following surgery, patients are cared for in the surgical unit. Soon after surgery, patients are seen by specialty-trained physical and occupational therapists. The goal is to utilize the team approach to enable patients to improve their functional skills allowing them to live, work and enjoy life after initial hospitalization.
