The Diagnostic Center at Woodland Heights: What We Have to Offer

The Diagnostic Center at Woodland Heights is an extension of the hospital's radiology department. Located just down Gaslight Blvd. from Woodland Heights, The Diagnostic Center offers a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere with convenient parking and curbside service.

All pre-registration for inpatient and outpatient hospital services, including Laboratory and EKG, is done at The Diagnostic Center. The Center also offers expanded services, more equipment and better scheduling. Services offered include CT Scan, Ultrasound, Bone Density Screening, Mammography, MRI, and General Radiography and Fluoroscopy.

The Diagnostic Center has the only high-field .7T Open MRI system in the area with the Hitachi Altaire. This system, which offers superior imaging in an open, anxiety-reducing environment, is a fast scanning system that will reduce your total exam time. Coupled with the 1.5T MRI at Woodland Heights Medical Center, we have increased the number of available appointments, which reduced the wait time for appointment and you receive the best possible imaging for every situation.

The Diagnostic Center also offers mammography services with G.E. DMR+ mammography equipment that offers enhanced image quality. In early November, we will be adding stereotactic services. This is a breast biopsy system offered in an outpatient environment. No sedation or recovery time is needed with this new procedure.

Under normal circumstances, same-day reports for digital testing are available to physicians. The Diagnostic Center is located at 125 Gaslight Medical Parkway. The hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. For an appointment, call 936-637-8514.
