Woodland Heights Launches Program for Active Adults

Woodland Heights Medical Center is happy to announce the launch of their new affinity program, Senior Circle, committed to enriching the lives of adults 50 and better. For an annual membership fee of $15, this program entitles members to local and national benefits including educational seminars, notary public, subscription to quarterly magazine, discounts on prescriptions, vision care, home security, and much more.

The mission of Senior Circle is to encourage the healthiest, most active lifestyle possible through meaningful education, wellness, health, volunteer opportunities, and social activities at our hospital and throughout the community, while providing a forum for fellowship, valuable member-only discounts, and privileges.

“Adults are staying active longer, and we are happy to provide this avenue that encourages fellowship and activity,” states Jennifer Stevens, Woodland Heights coordinator for Senior Circle. At Woodland Heights Medical Center we applaud and, even better, we support your efforts by continually assessing the needs of older adults in our community and enhancing our services.

To kick off the Senior Circle program, there will be a FREE Senior Circle Expo held on Thursday, May 22 from 8am to 11am in the Education Center at Woodland Heights. We will offer free health screenings, along with three mini-seminars on Nutrition, Orthopedics, and Cardiovascular Health. In addition, there will be several local vendors available to answer questions and offer giveaways and information.
