
Greg Shrader has been the publisher of The Lufkin for the past two and half years. A graduate of Pasadena (TX) High School, Greg earned both his Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Master of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
Prior to coming to Lufkin, Greg had been publisher of the Kerrville Daily Times since August 1995 and has also held several positions in different newspapers around the state including Bryan/College Station, Abilene and Galveston.
Greg and his wife, Laura, have two grown children. In addition to serving on the Woodland Heights Board of Trustees, Greg is active on several other boards and associations as an Officer with the Texas Press Association and active with the Southern Newspaper Publishers Association. He serves as President of the Advisory Board of the Lufkin Corp Salvation Army, Board Member of the Family Crisis Council of East Texas and is a member of the Lufkin Rotary Club.
